Introduction
This
heuristic* learning week in Costa Rica is
animated by
authors
and
training
consultants Lawrence
Poole
and
his life-partner
Suzy
Ethier,
and
their team. It's designed
to
help participants discover, develop and profit from
their « creative capital ».
Recent
popular movies like « What
The Bleep Do We Know?
»
and « The
Secret »
explain how our beliefs about the world shape
our experience of it. Quantum physics and
neuroscience both confirm that our
perception is an indivisible aspect
of our experience. Beliefs affect perception by
giving a bias to information and they thereby tend
to be self-fulfilling. Called the paradigm
effect, beliefs can either empower or sabotage
us.
In
order to overcome the limits imposed by our largely
unconscious paradigmatic belief structures, this
training tour and adventure-week will use a «
springboard story » - i.e. a narrative device
told to share knowledge. Throughout the story
theme, at appropriate times, the empowerment
process will be
effectivelydemystified.
Springboard
stories don't have to be believed or
disbelieved as they only supply the context
for transmitting information (the content). Via the
Visionary Flight story, you will be
introducd to the 5 roles of a creative
leader with activities that shorten the
learning curve. You'll also discover empowering
tools and syntheses during multimedia animations
and interactive small-group discussions.

result of the process is a transformative
« whole-brain »
experience.
